THE OPPORTUNITY

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead key technical projects from design to delivery, drive the implementation of scalable and robust solutions across our products, and contribute to our technical roadmap while mentoring junior engineers.

Your profile and expertise:

    • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in high-growth or early-stage startups.
    • Strong expertise in modern software technologies, with ability to quickly learn and ramp into our tech stack.
    • Proactive problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to independently navigate and resolve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong collaborator and communicator, effectively bridging gaps between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Your contributions across a range of projects:

    • Designing and building enterprise-grade APIs and platform-level features (web and mobile).
    • Driving the expansion of design systems to unify UI/UX across consumer and customer-facing products.
    • Leading the implementation and launch of new integrations with key data suppliers.
    • Developing and productizing advanced data models to effectively deploy new attributes and scores.
    • Advancing architectural enhancements to support new product use cases and ensure platform scalability.

In the first month, you'll:

    • Land your “new hire” ticket in the first week, and contribute to at least one key roadmap feature in the first month.
    • Familiarize yourself with our software development lifecycle and technical strategy.
    • Quickly grasp our business model, product offerings, and customer value proposition.
    • Integrate seamlessly with the team, understanding our working style, mission, and values.

In the first quarter, you'll:

    • Lead significant technical initiatives, taking end-to-end ownership from design through delivery.
    • Consistently participate and make impactful contributions across team norms (e.g., project planning, thorough code reviews, QA, on-call rotation).
    • Proactively collaborate with engineering, product, design, and other partner teams to drive cohesive development of complex projects.
    • Deepen knowledge of critical product artifacts and proactively identify opportunities for technical improvement.
    • Develop a clear understanding of how engineering decisions strategically impact our business and products.

In the first year, you'll:

    • Lead and successfully deliver complex features end-to-end, translating ambiguity into actionable technical milestones.
    • Champion best practices and implement technical enhancements that improve the scalability or maintainability of our product platform.
    • Become a trusted subject matter expert within your product vertical, comfortable translating product requirements into technical designs.
    • Influence technical decisions and direction of your team's roadmap.
    • Strengthen our engineering culture by regularly mentoring junior engineers and contributing to knowledge sharing.
