Neko Health is a Swedish health-tech company co-founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Our vision is to create a healthcare system that can help people stay healthy through preventive measures and early detection. Neko has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to do broad and non-invasive health data collection that is both convenient and affordable for the public. This requires completely reimagining the healthcare experience and incorporating the latest advances in sensors and AI. We are a remote first company, but the company is based in Stockholm and almost 100 employees across Europe.

About the job

We are seeking a special individual to join the growing Neko Health team as a Regional Manager for our UK market. As the person responsible for overseeing performance across all of our UK locations, you will be a pioneer in creating a new standard of healthcare that puts customers first. This is a role for someone who is not afraid of challenges and is ready to relentlessly push the boundaries of what is possible.  

Responsibilities:

    • Strategic planning: develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives, including delivering top tier customer experience and optimizing P&L 
    • Operational management: oversee day-to-day operations of multiple health clinics, ensuring efficient workflows, prime resource allocation, careful inventory management, high quality assurance, and more 
    • Quality control: work closely with customer support and field engineering to ensure minimal downtime and seamless member experience 
    • Supplier control: overseeing all third party suppliers (cleaning, maintenance, consumables, etc.) to ensure quality and drive competitive cost 
    • Team leadership: provide strong leadership to local team to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration 
    • Performance accountability: monitor and evaluate clinic performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed 
    • Budgeting and finances: develop, adhere to, and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability  
    • Stakeholder engagement: build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to affect change 

Requirements

    • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 
    • Proven experience in planning, operations management, and leadership roles  
    • Strategically-focused, yet willing to roll your sleeves up and get into the unglamorous work 
    • Ability to wear multiple hats and adapt to constant change 
    • Analytical mindset able to interpret data and make informed decisions 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
This role is based in London, and much of the work will be in-person, though occasional remote work is possible.
