Neko Health is a Swedish health-tech company co-founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Our vision is to create a healthcare system that can help people stay healthy through preventive measures and early detection. Neko has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to do broad and non-invasive health data collection that is both convenient and affordable for the public. This requires completely reimagining the healthcare experience and incorporating the latest advances in sensors and AI.  

We are seeking a results-driven Head of Expansion, International to lead our Europe growth strategy through the acquisition, development, and delivery of new clinics worldwide. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of expansion—site identification, real estate negotiations, construction management, capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, and launch execution—ensuring every clinic opens on time, within budget, and aligned with our brand standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with deep expertise in real estate and construction, coupled with a proven ability to scale operations across international markets

Requirements

    • 10+ years of experience in real estate development, site acquisition, or expansion strategy (healthtech, retail, or multi-site operations strongly preferred). 
    • Proven track record of leading international expansion projects, ideally in regulated industries. 
    • Deep knowledge of real estate negotiations, construction management, and CapEx optimization. 
    • Strong financial acumen, with experience in multi-million-dollar capital planning. 
    • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills. 
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment.
