About the role
As a Security Engineer you'll help to identify security issues across cloud and application services and work closely with teams to provide solutions and preventative controls.

What you’ll get to do

    • Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
    • Security review product features and changes to ensure potential security issues are identified before release.
    • Review and recommend technical and non-technical improvements to system and network security controls
    • Educate product teams and engineers across the business on security best practices within the product and application development.
    • Provide engineering teams the means to identify, quantify and fix potential security flaws.

What you'll bring

    • Experience working within Cloud, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps or Security roles.
    • Good understanding of how web applications work, from the underlying network protocols through to web server, browser behavior and everything in between.
    • Understanding of programming and scripting languages (at least one of GO, JavaScript, Python).
    • Knowledge of security trends including attack and defense techniques
    • Familiarity with security assurance, security analysis, vulnerability management, system hardening programs
    • Ability to lead and execute projects, including engaging with stakeholders
    • Passion for security and automation
    • Working proficiency in English
