That’s where you come in. We’re seeking a Retail & Licensing Specialist to support our consumer products growth ambitions in the UK. In this role, you'll have the thrilling opportunity to showcase fan-favorite titles like Stranger Things, Squid Game, and Bridgerton in ways that captivate audiences like never before. Reporting directly to the country lead, you'll be at the helm of shaping Netflix's presence at retail. From developing innovative concepts to executing impactful strategies, you'll be instrumental in solidifying Netflix's position as a leader in the UK retail landscape.

Job Description

    • Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategic plans for retail expansion and growth, fostering strong relationships with retailers to drive mutual success.
    • Account Management: Proactively engage retailers with upcoming Netflix content and products, equipping them with the necessary resources to enhance sales performance and drive revenue.
    • Revenue Growth: Utilise data-driven insights and category analysis to identify and capitalize on key revenue opportunities throughout the year.
    • Planning & Trade Marketing: Lead the planning and execution of market launch programs, collaborating with retailers and licensees to create impactful cross-category retail activations.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster knowledge sharing and partnership by integrating best practices from other regions (UCAN, LATAM, APAC, EMEA) into local market strategies, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

What We Need From You

    • Demonstrated, 8+ years of experience in building and owning the end-to-end licensing function at a reputable entertainment brand (entertainment studio, retailer, licensee, agency)
    • Knowledge of the UK licensing landscape with strong contacts and network within the UK licensing & retail landscape
    • Retail Business knowledge across different local/regional tiers ( mass-market, Speciality, and online) and channels (knowledge of operational/omnichannel approach)
    • Trade marketing and retail activations experience
    • Passionate and curious about retail, marketing, and content
    • Extremely organized, effective communicator, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Agile, goal-oriented, driven to succeed, and always up for a challenge
    • Data performance analysis
    • A natural and deep affection for film, television, and or brands
    • Bachelor’s or advanced degree (preferred)
