As a part of one of our agile teams, you will be a vital member of our internal tech organization. You will work in a small tight-knit team on the journey of becoming a platform team, with the goal of enabling innovation within the company. The vision is that all employees can be a part of the digitalization of the company, building custom applications, supported  by our technology. Within our cross functional team, your responsibility area will be to make suitable adjustments and improvements related to the platform, consisting of an API and a user facing platform, as well as setting up guidelines, template application and sharing experiences and guidance with other Netlight employees. You will also take part in developing and maintaining some of our own in-house applications and tools used by the employees at Netlight.

The main languages and technologies that you will encounter are Java, Kotlin, Typescript, SQL and AWS. As we are a network organization, it is crucial that you are self-driven, comfortable with taking initiative and responsibility, as well as being a service-minded and a communicative team player. Curiosity and a willingness to try new things to increase your knowledge and experiences is important, as you will be in an evolving environment. Passion and a great interest for technology will be a strong foundation to grow upon.

 

- Based in Stockholm, hybrid work model

- Higher education related to computer science or engineering

- 1-2 years or more, of professional experience as a backend developer

- Written and spoken business level fluency in English

- Proficient in: Java and/or Kotlin

- Good to have: Typescript and AWS

- A passion for development, and understanding the whole chain, from backend to end user

- A good communicator, naturally building trust

- Self-driven, yet networking, having a strong inner drive with a great ability to cooperate

- Structured yet adaptive, taking responsibility for a dynamic learning environment
