About the role:
We're seeking a creative and strategic Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our team to help our consumer-facing efforts. As Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you'll own the communication strategy with our users at every stage of the funnel via email marketing and push notifications to retain and engage users. This is a collaborative position that also requires a high degree of independent work due to the nature of our small team. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will report to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies to nurture and engage users throughout their journey with our app, from onboarding to retention and reactivation, leveraging email marketing and push notifications.
    • Own the end-to-end execution of email marketing campaigns, including campaign planning, content creation, segmentation, scheduling, and deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user segmentation strategies.
    • Build and maintain sophisticated email segmentation models based on user behavior, demographics, and engagement metrics, leveraging data insights to personalize messaging and drive user engagement and conversion.
    • Create high-performing email automation and drip campaigns, including welcome series, re-engagement campaigns, and win-back sequences, to optimize user retention and drive growth.
    • Monitor and analyze email performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue attribution, using data insights to iterate on strategies and optimize campaign performance.
    • Develop and implement push notification strategies to complement email marketing efforts, delivering timely and relevant messages to users across mobile and web platforms to drive app engagement and retention.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data analytics teams to identify opportunities for improving the user experience and optimizing lifecycle marketing initiatives based on user feedback and behavioral insights.
    • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovations in lifecycle marketing and user engagement, continuously evaluating and adopting new tools, technologies, and strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Preferred Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of 3-5 years in lifecycle marketing roles, with experience in developing and executing lifecycle marketing strategies within the B2C sector, preferably in the fashion or tech industry.
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data sets, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance and drive business results.
    • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools, such as Klaviyo, Braze, Hubspot or Mailchimp, with hands-on experience building and deploying email campaigns and automations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and storytelling that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement and conversion.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy, ensuring all email campaigns and communications adhere to brand guidelines, messaging standards, and legal requirements.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of thriving in a collaborative team environment and working independently to drive results and achieve business objectives.
