About The Position

We are looking for a driven insurance professional looking to join our fast-growing employee benefits organization. This role is crucial in helping bring high quality insurance knowledge to the account management team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the employee benefits team at the ground floor and help build the organization's foundation to scale. 

You'll Be Responsible For:

Be the primary day-to-day contact for clients

Be a liaison between client and vendors/carriers to resolve issues

Proactively developing and maintaining high level client relationships with multiple clients

Working with Producers and other team members to market for quotes 

Develop a strong understanding of health and welfare benefit products, services, technical tools, and vendor/carrier markets

Effectively prioritize and manage needs of multiple clients and respective lines of coverage

Active participant in meetings, training sessions Renewal & Marketing Strategy and deployment

Coordinate with client and carriers to ensure timely and efficient renewal and/or implementation of employee coverage

Coordinate employee communication strategy and preparation of communication materials

Review client contracts and policies for accuracy.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

At least two years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in an Employee Benefits Account Manager role focused on health lines of coverage within an insurance brokerage firm

Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as superior client service and problem solving skills

Appropriate state licensing to transact and advise on insurance

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Demonstrated efficiency with computer systems and software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products and Adobe
