Insurance is a trillion dollar market that is fundamental to society, yet it has not modernized — until now.
Newfront is building the modern insurance experience.
We've reimagined the experience for clients, prospects, and employees, altering the way people create, understand, select, transact, and use insurance. We're changing the approach so that it starts and ends with the client, not the product, and empowering people for moments that matter.
Our unique approach recognizes both the vast potential of technology and the fundamental role of insurance experts. We're a technology-driven company with DE&I in our DNA and strong values; we believe people matter most.
Our mission is to define the future of the insurance industry, while instilling a high performance culture in combination with living our Work, Love, Play ethos each day. We value balanced lives and are passionate about creating a culture of wellness that results in healthier, happier, and more productive employees, and more successful clients.
As the leader of the Total Rewards product at Newfront, you’ll manage the client experience for the thousands of businesses we work with. You'll work closely with Design and Engineering teammates to ship a modern dashboard that helps HR leaders manage their plans and vendors, identify areas for improvement, and engage with employees. You'll also craft an employee app that guides Newfront clients' employees through their benefits, helps them improve their health and wellbeing, and answers any questions.
This position is a salaried, exempt, full-time role. This role is open to Bay Area-based candidates or remote candidates who are open to occasional travel to one of Newfront’s offices. #LI-Remote
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Communicating a cohesive product investment framework. There are a million features we could be launching, but you’ve picked this one. You’ll need to clearly reason about your ideas and be able to communicate frameworks for prioritizing and executing projects through metrics creation, ROI evaluation, and impact analysis.
- Distilling complex problems and opportunities into simple requirements. The benefits & insurance industry is one built on exceptions, and the features you build will need to streamline workflows while being flexible enough to manage those exceptions.
- Aligning diverse partners and teams of Engineers, Designers, and Insurance colleagues to guide a shared vision.
- Setting your team's goals, success metrics, and roadmap to align with Newfront’s mission to turn risk into an opportunity for clients.
- Working with Designers and Engineers to prioritize, plan, and execute. You will conduct research and create product specs, influence and provide feedback on product designs, and work with Engineering to drive high-quality feature launches.
- Partner with Product Operations to enable complex rollouts for Newfront clients.
