We are looking for a Sales Trainer to design and deliver educational programs for our sales teams. Sales Trainer responsibilities include conducting skills gap analyses, preparing learning material, and evaluating results after each training session. For this role, you will work closely with our salespeople to identify challenges they face on-the-job and recommend ways to increase productivity. Ultimately, you will help increase the overall performance of our sales teams and ensure they have the skills to achieve their goals.

Essential Functions

    • Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
    • Observe recorded calls and emails between prospects and sales in order to audit against standardized scoring monitor, maintain and identify trends in scores
    • Coordinate with Learning & Development team in development and maintenance of sales training curriculum
    • Have knowledge of Salesforce and, when needed, can jump in to help sales team improve and stay up to date with latest functionalities and best practices
    • Work with various stakeholders (SMEs and outsourced instructional designers) to create e-learning solutions for sales training
    • Manage end to end training strategy
    • Deliver multiple phases of learning paths for multiple partners and selling roles within organizations
    • Implement training content, tools, and assessments for knowledge transfer and on-going development
    • Deliver training curriculum, to a wide audience, including inside and net/new sales, employees, and partners
    • Plan, coordinate, and deliver new hire training and partner with other supporting areas to help onboard and ramp new salespeople
    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and in self-paced situations

Minimum Requirements

    • Proven work experience as a Sales Trainer training software sales representatives
    • Knowledge of Salesforce
    • Development and modifying sales curriculum
    • Manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Solid communication and presentation abilities
    • Experience implementing and/or training around sales methodology

Preferred Qualifications

    • Sales management experience
    • Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms; Articulate Storyline
    • Additional certification in sales training methodology

Working Environments/Physical Demand

    • Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor.
