Who You Are:

Next Millennium's sales team is passionate about bringing new Publishers our innovative and useful products to help build engagement and grow communities on their own properties.  In this role, you will hunt and grow a book of business while strategically positioning Next Millennium’s offerings.

You will be responsible for educating, consulting and prospecting new Publishers. You will also partner with the Account Management team to monitor the health, retention and expansion opportunities across our publisher accounts. Your extraordinary communication skills and knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem help you successfully connect with Publishers and internal teams to quickly establish trust and rapport.

What You’ll Do:

    • Act as the subject matter expert on digital and programmatic related topics with a focus on successfully securing sales goals
    • Run the full sales life-cycle for your prospective deals from the initial call, to the product demo through deal signing
    • Cultivate and expand relationships with top-tier media publishers  in order to sell Next Millennium’s products and offerings and drive the partner’s revenue base
    • Define target markets/verticals, partner with sales operations on lead generation processes and pipelines, and document interactions and follow-ups
    • Conduct outbound calls and emails to prospective clients, manage outreach via LinkedIn and other networking platforms
    • Build and maintain a book of business with local publishers, programmatic marketers and digital buyers for continued opportunities 
    • Work closely with the Lead Generation team to establish new client relationships
    • Partner with the Account Management team to build and maintain a pipeline of publisher clients to drive and retain client success 
    • Proactively familiarize yourself on current industry trends and developing adtech strategies and solutions

What We’re Looking For:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant sales experience
    • 4+ years of programmatic or other advertising and media related sales knowledge and exposure
    • Previous experience selling technology solutions to publishers or experience working at a publisher is required for this role.
    • A strategic thinker who can build rapport with clients and execute plans to meet goals

    • A driven professional and a true seller who can be agile in their sales efforts while being coachable and open to learning

$150,000 - $250,000 a year
This range reflects a total annual compensation range which includes a base, variable commissions and bonuses.
