Who You Are:

Next Millennium is looking for an experienced Marketing Director to join our growing team. This person will oversee all marketing efforts including PR, digital, advertising, branding, messaging and collateral development. The Marketing Director will hold a key role on the senior management team, advising the CEO on marketing initiatives and wears a ‘jack of all trades’ hat. In this position, you will be working both independently and collaboratively to create and edit dynamic content that will enhance Next Millenium’s website publications and position within the advertising and web publisher industries. You will also lead and develop a lean team of 2-3 marketing professionals.

What You’ll Do:

>> Drive an integrated digital strategy for marketing, communications, and audience engagement that positions
>> Next Millennium as a national and global digital solutions leader
>> Grow the organization's brand with the broadest possible array of stakeholders through a combination of digital content, effective use of media, public relations, and other tools, with an eye toward brand integrity and consistency
>> Set benchmarks for success by gathering internal input and identifying relevant external research and industry standards
>> Exhibit an ability to thrive in a complex organization with the capacity to make decisions and anticipate future needs in a changing environment; experience leading and managing through change
>> Apply existing knowledge and skills to create and implement effective and proactive marketing strategies to strengthen the organization's voice, expand its audience, increase its impact, and grow its revenue
>> Use exceptional writing and editing skills, particularly for website and digital channels, including the ability to write compelling subject lines, headlines, copy and call to actions for internal and external promotions such as email campaigns, social media ads, Google ads, LinkedIn etc. 

What We’re Looking For:

>> A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
>> 5+ years of marketing strategy experience in Partnership Acquisition, internal and external promotions, website design, and review platform performance. 
>> Experience using coding programs such as UX to achieve a finished wireframe is preferred
>> 2+ years of experience leading or managing a team
>> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
>> Creativity - an ability to formulate compelling and exciting ideas
>> Collaboration - working closely with internal partners to execute marketing strategies
>> Highly organized and agile -  can own and tackle big challenges with energy, drive, and dedication
>> Experience with developing and executing strong SEO optimization practices
>> An impressive portfolio that displays your body of work is highly encouraged
