Our client Smoobu, a subsidiary of HomeToGo Group, is seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Engineer to join their team.
Smoobu is a fast-growing vacation rental startup, managing over 70,000 properties across more than 120 countries with its all-in-one SaaS solution for private hosts. As a Senior PHP Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and improving Smoobu product, helping hosts efficiently manage and grow their businesses.
You will be part of a young, ambitious, and international team that is passionate about exceeding customer expectations through expert advice and action. As we continue to innovate and expand our offerings, we are looking for talented and driven individuals eager to take on the challenge of transforming the vacation rental industry and taking it to the next level
In this role, you will
- Work hand-in-hand with stakeholders to refine requirements, dividing work into clear milestones, identifying blockers
- Maintain, upgrade existing systems and resolve complex technical design issues
- Choose adequate technical and business metrics to monitor features and manage the risk
- Mentor, and develop team members and collaborate with them on personal and career growth
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience in writing good code with PHP, especially with OOP
- Experience with Symfony or similar framework
- Good knowledge of relational databases
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment
- Ability to learn new technologies and share your knowledge with others
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Professional working proficiency in English

Salary range:
17 200 - 27 500 PLN + VAT (B2B)
14 270 - 22 200 PLN gross (Permanent)
