As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you’ll work in a passionate and hard-working team. Day to day we manage 24/7 critical infrastructure, ensuring we stay stable, secure and efficient. It is our role to collaborate with other teams, understand their specifics and provide solutions to deploy and operate their code in different environments. You will take ownership of IT operations, be extremely reliable and have an excellent level of systems and technical knowledge backed up by hands-on experience. This position is open in Vilnius or Kaunas.

In this role, you will

    • Continuously improve speed, efficiency, security and scalability of our infrastructure
    • Solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
    • Develop and maintain automation tools to keep internal team's processes fast and efficient
    • Communicate and align within and across teams
    • Proactively seek opportunities to implement improvements to internal team process

What you will bring

    • Experience in DevOps, systems administration, automation or network infrastructure
    • Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix and key services which makes web work (Nginx, Elasticsearch, MariaDB, Redis, etc.)
    • Excellent understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, TLS, and other TCP/IP protocols)
    • Excellent knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems
    • Solid experience working with Puppet
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and implementations
    • Experience with build automation systems such as Jenkins
    • Experience with large scale public cloud infrastructure
    • Understanding of basic IT security concepts
    • Programming skills (Ruby, Python, etc.)
