What Is NFX Like?
We run our venture firm like a startup. This is the venture firm we wish existed when we were running our own startups.

We operate as a team, not as siloed partners. We have fun, make it rain, and laugh a lot.
In addition to investing, we write code, develop content, make connections, and build exceptional leaders.

Here are some of the software products we’re building for the startup ecosystem:
Signal, the network of VC’s and Founders
BriefLink, a tool for Founders to pitch VC’s

This is some of the content we’ve produced:
https://www.nfx.com/library
https://podcast.nfx.com/
https://www.nfx.com/masterclass

Because of our content, we are among the most-visited VC websites in the world. We are experts in network effects, growth, and fundraising.

Our partners have started 10 companies worth over $10B upon exit. So we are known to have a unique ability to relate to, and coach, those we invest in.

We have a mission to help keep Silicon Valley a “creativity-first” culture and avoid becoming a “money-first” culture. We think that drives higher returns, is better for us as people, and better for the ecosystem as a whole.
We invest in early-stage startups–pre-seed and seed.  We lead our investments 95% of the time, meaning we don't get FOMO and we have the confidence to decide. We are hands on helping with strategy, product, team, and the other critical aspects of companies. We are all founders many times over, so we have been in their shoes and are often their best source of advice.

We’ve invested in 27 unicorns, including companies like Trulia, Lyft, Houzz, DoorDash, Poshmark, Honeybook, Outdoorsy, Incredible Health, SuperPlay, Mammoth Biosciences, Papaya Gaming, and many more.

This position is NOT a remote position. Please do not apply if you are not in the San Francisco Bay Area or cannot work out of our San Francisco office.
