Nibiru is looking for a blockchain lead developer who will lead large projects with long term impact on the business. They must be able to tackle complex engineering problems and set up processes/tooling to improve engineering team efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and deploy blockchain code in test and production environments
- Develop, deploy, and test smart contracts
- Test and debug web3 applications
- Write unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests, and simulation tests for the blockchain code
- Automate build and release process through GitHub Actions
- Research improvements to the consensus and state management stack
- Produce technical documentation on the blockchain
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with the Cosmos SDK and/or the Cosmos ecosystem
- Proficiency in Golang
- Core understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with binary serialization and deserialization (Protobufs)
Preferred experience (any)
- Proficiency with Rust and/or Solidity
- Experience with CosmWasm and/or EVM smart contracts
- Coursework or advanced degree in distributed systems or database systems
- Coursework in cryptography
- Specifically public key cryptography and elliptic curve cryptography
- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes
- Experience distributed systems (e.g. consensus protocols and p2p networking)
- Experience with database engines (LSM trees)
