Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle of new products and features, from the idea stage to launch. Your main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations and improving overall user experience. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of a product that meets customer needs and business objectives.
Our ideal candidates should combine technical background with a Business Administration degree. Ultimately, you’ll work with internal global teams to build products that fill gaps in the market and increase product usage, especially in a fast-paced digital environment that is undergoing a lot of change to its ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Respond to day-to-day data-related questions from internal Commercial stakeholders
- Learn about and confidently talk to the data that fuels our products, from methodology to use cases
- Create support and training documents for internal and external users
- Conduct market analysis to understand trends and customer needs Define a clear product strategy based on market insights and business goals.
- Work closely with our stakeholder team to understand the business and adapt solutions as it evolves.
- Create and manage a product roadmap outlining features, enhancements, and releases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing) for successful, cost-effective product execution.
- Clearly articulate product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
- Prioritize features based on business value, customer impact, and resource constraints.
- Embrace an iterative and agile development approach for continual product refinement.
- Orchestrate successful product launches, coordinating marketing, sales, and support efforts.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback for future product iterations.
- Identify and mitigate risks impacting successful product delivery.
- Prepare project status and risk management reports.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog that aligns with available Tech capacity and maps to an overall solution roadmap.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, computer science or engineering
- 3-5+ years experience in a product management or programmatic data role
- Experience in planning, developing, and managing data products, preferably in digital advertising, media or technology.
- Prior experience in Audience Measurement / Media Industry is a plus.
- Ad-Tech experience preferred Comfortable operating on a fast-paced team within a quickly-changing ad-tech environment
- Experience with project management and managing projects with various timelines.
- Additional certifications in Product Management, Agile methodologies, or related areas are advantageous
- Experience in writing technical specifications and technology requirements
- Excellent communication skills and collaborate abilities especially with cross-functional teams
- Strong time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, JIRA and Confluence

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be $38,000 - $155,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
