Gracenote's Commercial Team is seeking a revenue-driven VP, Automotive Commercial Market Segment Lead to spearhead our growth strategy. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for driving substantial revenue growth, optimizing market penetration, and maximizing profitability within the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Generation and Growth:
-Develop and execute a revenue-focused 3-5 year business plan for the Automotive Market Segment
-Meet and exceed ambitious quarterly and annual revenue targets
-Identify high-value opportunities and convert them into significant revenue streams
2. Strategic Leadership US and Globally:
-Create and implement a commercial vision that drives exponential revenue growth
-Lead the global Automotive Sales Team to consistently surpass revenue goals
-Spearhead key commercial initiatives to accelerate growth across specific products and markets
3. Client Relationship Management:
-Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with top 10 clients in the automotive sector
-Leverage your strong personal network among Global OEMs (Hyundai, Toyota, Ford, GM, Tesla, etc.) to drive sales
4. Product-Market Fit and Revenue Optimization:
-Collaborate with product teams to ensure offerings align with market demands and revenue potential
-Analyze competitive landscape and user feedback to identify revenue-generating product improvements
-Work closely with customer success to maximize client retention and upselling opportunities
5. Financial Performance:
-Partner with Finance to set aggressive yet achievable revenue targets
-Monitor and report on key financial KPIs, ensuring consistent revenue growth
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in the automotive sector
- 8+ years in commercial management with a focus on exceeding revenue targets
- Extensive experience in contemporary Auto Platforms and strong relationships with Tier 1 Integrators (Auto Supply Chain, Software Services Licensing)
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute revenue-generating strategies in fast-paced environments
- Track record of managing international remote teams
- Expert in using Salesforce to optimize sales processes and revenue tracking
- Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and revenue opportunities
- The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a relentless focus on revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability in the automotive sector.

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $100,000 - $300,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications, and other business requirements/needs.
