As aSenior Data Scientist / Analyst, you will be a core driver for initiatives spanning across the company, using data to influence business and product decisions. You will combine analytical rigor with statistical modeling and machine learning expertise to understand what is happening, why, and what your team can do about it. As a resident data expert, you will empower teams to make data-driven decisions through insightful analyses, predictive modeling, and clear communication of complex findings.

You will:

    • Drive key business and product initiatives through actionable insights and predictive modeling
    • Develop and deploy statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems
    • Communicate complex findings through clear storytelling for both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Design and optimize data structures (events, tables, pipelines) that are efficient, logical, and forward-thinking in collaboration with data engineering
    • Contribute to sustainable, scalable processes and best practices for data usage across the company
    • Coach data scientists / analysts

What you bring:

    • Bachelor or higher degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics / statistics), or similar fields
    • 5+ years of experience in data science, data analytics, or a related quantitative role
    • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, cleaning, and enrichment
    • Proficient in other languages/tools (i.e. R, Python, Excel, etc.)
    • Strong grasp of statistical concepts and experimental design (A/B testing, regression, hypothesis testing)
    • Expertise in Python or R for statistical analysis and modeling techniques, (i.e. feature engineering, classification, clustering, model evaluation, etc)
    • Proven track record of utilizing analyses and modeling solutions to drive business/product initiatives
    • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical collaboration
    • A strong foundation in prioritization and problem-solving
