Contribute to Ninja Direct GMV growth by offering sourcing as a service to ND customers. Main responsibilities include, identifying the right target audience, working with China sourcing team to fulfil sourcing requests from the customers, achieving monthly sales targets.

Provide high quality service to customers, and be responsible for bridging communications between sales and sourcing team when a problem arises. Ensure that service fees are charged and margin targets are met.

Lastly, you will also be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, and this encompassess prospecting key shippers and corporate clients whom we can establish partnerships with, and develop the proposal with the china commercial team.

Key Accountabilities

    • Collaborate with Ninja Direct sales teams to Identify potential sourcing clients and fulfill their sourcing requirements.
    • Develop relationships with customers and a keen understanding of their business needs to expand wallet share.
    • Maintain relationships with sourcing customers and develop an understanding of purchasing cycles with the goal of driving customer stickiness and ensuring repeat orders.
    • Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring all sourcing related enquiries are adequately handled by the team, and by ensuring all disputes are settled in a timely and fair manner.
    • Collaborate with the China commercial team to develop partnerships and revenue opportunities involving china suppliers and local partners.

Key Requirements

    • Min. 4 years or related working experience in a startup or foreign company (more hands on knowledge building a business) 
    • Trading company background with Sourcing experience from the China market preferred 
    • Has front end experience dealing with customers and managing after sales service 
    • Has experience leading and managing sales team and managing pipeline
    • College Degree in E-Commerce,International Trade,Business Administration or related field preferred.
    •  Structured in his thoughts and team management
    • Ability to strategize and implement plans systematically 
    • Data Driven decision making; comfortable working with spreadsheets and data sets
    • Strong Leadership and Communication with stakeholders (peers, subordinates and managers)
    • Not afraid to fail / comfortable with working with ambiguity
    • Understand basic commercial funnel/processes
    • Plus point if candidate is fluent in Mandarin
