Sales Planning Manager is a resource for supporting volume growth – play an important role in shaping direction.

Sales Planning Manager is responsible for EXECUTING THE SALES SYSTEM: providing tools, data, information, knowledge, guidelines, and vigilance/compliance across FS sales channels.

This responsibility demands the Sales Planning Manager to be updated and hands-on with:
• Day to day sales management practices
• Procedures across processes, systems/tools
• Improve Sales Effectiveness and Efficiency
• Knowledge and awareness levels of sales team to provide support.

Key Accountabilities:

    • Sales Management:
    • Provide Business Performance Reporting (Daily / Weekly / Monthly)
    • Provide effective consultancy and advisory support to Sales head to analyze, plan, and implement necessary sales plans and resources to achieve volume requirements.
    • Cross functional topics
    • Sales calendar: meetings, initiatives

    • Sales Planning
    • Provide support for Budgeting and Planning exercise
    • Design and implement Incentive scheme in line with Regional guideline.
    • Play pivotal role in Month Business Review (MBR) process:
    • Review deck ready on time
    • Country comments updated.
    • Follow up on Action plan.
    • Implementation and monitoring of the sales processes, coaching and Performance improvement framework and applications in the countries.
    • Review post-implementation performance in the countries to ensure sales management process, sales coaching, Sales Performance, and tools/automation usage are further developed and directly stimulating growth of business.

    • Sales Development
    • Integrate the Regional Sales Process, Sales Stimulation Initiative, Best in Class Sales Skills, and Saleforce.com usage to ensure its usage as part of daily sales activity.
    • Lead country sales audits/reviews to ensure countries are compliant with regional sales priorities and process.
    • Data Quality: To ensure correct set up as well as awareness by salesperson to capture information in the correct manner in Sales tools (e.g., Salesforce.com)

    • Provide information to sales and sales teams to continuously monitor input & output measures for desired result.
    • Customer re-allocation (Rank up & Rank Down): Lead and provide support in customer allocation exercise to ensure customers in the right channel.

    • Salesforce.com Admin Support: Support Sales team on day-to-day salesfore.com admin activities:
    • Customer owner transfer:
    • Bulk upload of Leads (from all source)
    • New user ID creation ticket
    • User Deactivation ticket

    • People / Sales Training
    • Initiate and develop working partnerships with Regional and Local Sales training team to assist the FS Channel to develop training requirement.
    • Ensure All planned training delivery on time and serve the purpose.
    • Work with local sales trainer on post-training activities (e.g., Survey, Assessment etc.)
    • Manage direct reports in completing Sales Operation, project plans and delivering reports in timely fashion. (Local Sales Operation person).

Key Requirements:

    • Experience Required:
    • Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in a commercial / Sales Support role
    • Proven track record of project management experience.
    • Excellent understanding of Sales processes and ideally a background in actual selling
    • Hands- on knowledge of Customer Relationship Mgmt. (Salesforce.com) & Business Intelligence systems,
    • Experience in managing a team.
    • Experience in logistics is a plus.
    • Previous experience in Country and Regional office collaborates environment will be added advantage

    • Education / Qualifications:
    • Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree; preferably master’s degree

    • Skills:
    • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
    • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
    • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
    • High level of comfort with data analysis and interpretation
