Requirements,
- 1 years of Seafreight & Cargo Management
- Good experience on managing vendor for cargo and airline
- Strong leadership, communication ability, and interpersonal skills
- Able to engage and link multiple parties across function
- Willing to travel within the region
Responsibilities,
- Explore current industry news, best practices, benchmarks, and methodologies in seafreight process to kickstart developing seafreight process
- Assist in developing standardization for seafreight operational standards process
- Initiate, negotiate, and manage deals with seafreight provider/vendor
- Oversee outgoing and incoming seafreight process to achieve an operational seafreight process, resolve operational issues, and achieve department objectives
- Responsible in tracking all shipments processed using seafreight in all region
- Assist in managing resources both in terms of talent/headcount, vehicle management, and other additional needs for seafreight process
- Complete administrative process for cargo bookings based on cargo plan load created
- Generate performance report of outgoing and incoming shipment in seafreight process
- Initiate and manage relations with relevant leaders and cross-functional heads
