The incumbent is responsible for helping accelerate growth in the SG fulfilment business by capitalizing on various growth opportunities, driving revenue generation, and ultimately contributing to the business’ growth targets sustainably. Also responsible for providing support on various other initiatives such as market research and marketing. 

Responsibilities

    • Support country head in discussions with sales channels (SG sales head, CSO commercial) to ensure that there are sufficient opportunities that meet the qualification criteria entering the pipeline
    • Partner sales channels to understand gaps in product, pricing and TOF strategy to drive improved TOF
    • Drive top line growth based on internal and external leads aligned to the fulfilment sales target.
    • Own and build sales pipeline to track progress and prioritise opportunities, including providing updates to Country head and Core SG mgmt team
    • Engagement with prospective clients to understand fulfilment requirements, and working with internal stakeholders to provide solutions.
    • Implement effective sales strategies to accelerate pipeline velocity and drive conversion rates. 
    • Support country head in strategic sales planning and implementation and support marketing and product development programs, targeted towards existing and new Ninja Van customers.
    • Independently prepare, draft and review presentations with customers.
    • Lead commercial negotiations with clients, including cross selling various products aiming to push for new wins.
    • Work with operations manager to develop cost-based quotations for customers
    • Work closely on contract negotiation and engagements between clients and legal team.
    • Handle inquiries and perform related duties including ad hoc and fulfilment related tasks as assigned.
    • Assess market opportunities and insights to build new segments for potential business growth
    • Provide insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, presentations, and sales collateral.
    • Assist in the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives to support sales objectives.
    • Provide input and feedback on marketing strategies based on customer feedback and market insights.

Requirements

    • At least 3-5 years of extensive experience in sales, business development and marketing
    • Experience in 3PL logistics business development or eCommerce logistics is preferred. 
    • Track record in managing and growing customer portfolio aligned to target given
    • At least a degree in any field
    • Strategic, innovative, and creative personality with a strong business acumen
    • A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment
    • Sales/ Business development or account management experience in eCommerce Logistics market
    • Strong existing working relationships with clients
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms)
    • Proficiency in English (Reading, Writing & Speaking)
