Sitting within the Regional Trade Marketing team, the Regional Trade Marketing Senior Associate will support trade marketing programs in empowering shipper-facing sales teams across Ninja Van's South-East Asian countries. The role contributes to key commercial initiatives and enhances sales performance through the execution of trade marketing levers, including shipper loyalty programs, referral initiatives, and tactical promotions.
 
 

Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-country teams to contribute to the strategic development of trade marketing levers
    • Implement, localise, and improve trade and retail programs to facilitate acquisition and maximise revenue growth across sales channels
    • Engage with regional and in-market trade marketing leads to understand business needs and translate them into trade marketing initiatives 
    • Work closely with external service providers, and internal teams (such as Product, Tech and Digital Marketing) to ensure the effectiveness of Ninja Van trade marketing systems and platforms in enhancing customer experience
    • Conduct regular sync-ups with in-market teams to ensure execution of initiatives are in alignment with agreed plans
    • End-to-end program management to ensure high program adoption/utilisation by salespersons across sales channels
    • Drive in-market engagement shippers, partners, and affiliates through communication channels such as EDM, website, digital touchpoints, and exclusive events
    • Work with Business Intelligence and Insight teams to develop performance monitoring dashboards
    • Analyse trade marketing programs regularly to gain actionable insights for continuous improvement and optimization 

Requirements

    • Degree qualifications (Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject)
    • At least 2-3 years of Sales & Marketing experience, with proven track record in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Stints in trade marketing / channel marketing are highly valued
    • Preference for candidates who have achieved results in customer programs, and familiarity with loyalty and/or referral programs is a plus
    • Agility to operate in a rapidly changing, ambiguous and undefined environments
    • Creative and strategic in developing programs and initiatives that solve business problems
    • Natural team player with high level of self-motivation and is known for results driven work attitude
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, adept at navigating through regional, in-market, and cross-functional structures within the organisation
    • Good business acumen and analytical skills in performing program analysis to derive actionable insights
