The Sales Associate is responsible for the new business acquisition and management of merchants. He/She will be responsible for generating leads, assessing and qualifying the leads to build a healthy and strong sales pipeline. Beyond acquisition, there is a need to nurture and develop existing clients to ensure their growth in life time value with Ninja Van.


    • Lead Generation and Qualification
    • Creatively seek and reach out to key decision makers of potential leads
    • Respond to and qualify inbound leads from emails and Zendesk in a timely manner
    • Import and maintain data of leads in Salesforce CRM platform
    • Schedule meetings with potential prospects to understand service requirements of clients

    • New Business Acquisition
    • Prepare and build presentation decks for sales presentations
    • Acquire new clients to increase sales revenue and push through operational requests to internal stakeholders to meet clients’ requirements and SLAs
    • Prepare sales proposals, pricing structures and contract documents for clients
    • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure required resources and operational support and service are available
    • Compliance to sales process and legal compliance during the course of acquiring new accounts. 
    • Educate clients on the basic requirements prior to using Ninja Van’s services

    • Account Management
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships and strong rapport with accounts for high account retention and client satisfaction
    • Identify ways to increase sales revenue / wallet shares with existing accounts
    • Ensure delivery SLAs are met to protect the clients’ interest


    • 0 - 2 years experience in a business development client-facing role, experienced in sales negotiation and pricing strategies
    • Manage enquiries and complaints with tact and professionalism
    • Resourceful critical thinker to resolve challenges from daily operations
    • Good team player with ability to interact with all levels
    • Self-motivated, proactive and results oriented.
    • Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite  
    • Able to manage multiple deals in the sales pipeline end-to-end
    • Fluent and strong command of English for convincing presentation
