JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist FC liase with logistics service providers and customers to ensure on-time deliveries
    • Maintain monitoring and recording the data for all trips including the standby, departure and arrival times
    • Help control on biling matters with logistics service providers to reduce the delay of payment processing to logistics service providers.
    • Ensure all trips are recorded including the return D.O and the invoices
    • Ensure all trips use the MMDA (in-hours and vendor trips)
    • Collaboration with other departments for the day to day operations
    • Manage schedule for the LGH in house driver
    • Assist and monitor logistics service provides'performance3 to ensure timely delivery of shipments
    • Participate in vendor performance reviews to ensure vendor adherence to committed lead time.
    • Support insurance claims which arise form logistics service providers or internal trucking to ensure maximum recovery on losses.
    • Work jointly with logistics service providers as well as the management team on transport plan deployment to minimize transition difficulties during implementation.
    • Communicate with vendors for schedule and driver arrangements
    • Liase with internal and external customers on transportation matters to ensure smooth operations
    • Improve service level by identifying optimization of processes and procedures.
    • Receive weekly/monthly manual invoices from logistics service providers.
    • Manual freight audit
    • Submit payment approval

JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Diploma/ Degree or equivalent.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in the transport/freight forwarding/logistics field related to freight forwarding and logistics.
    • Logistics/third party logistics (3PL) industry know-how and background, conversant with commercial processes and operational viabilities.
    • Superior communication and interpersonal skills are necessary; strong team player.
    • An independent performer, he/she must be motivated and resilient, with an ability to deal with difficult customers and deliver even under pressure.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret and examine regulations required.
    • Fluency in English in required.
    • Highly proficient in MS Office or Google Docs platforms
    • Willing to work on NIGHT SHIFT
