Responsibilities

    • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software that powers Ninja Van’s complex logistics operations.
    • Take ownership of architecture and implementation for major features, modules, and end-to-end products.
    • Manage and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of APIs, ensuring seamless integration with third-party services where required.
    • Ensure applications meet standards of performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
    • Guide the team in troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing existing systems.
    • Promote engineering best practices by encouraging clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
    • Facilitate and participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
    • Stay updated on emerging tools, frameworks, and industry best practices, and drive their adoption where beneficial.

Requirements

    • Minimum 8+ years of industry experience in software development is required.
    • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar technical role.
    • At least 2 years of experience in leading/managing engineering teams is mandatory.
    • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like React.js and TypeScript.
    • Solid back-end development expertise using Java or Golang (Golang preferred).
    • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
    • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to drive collaboration across teams.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an advantage.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
