About the Unit:
Resource Management Support Unitsupports the core operations of the Company in terms of providing fleet manpower through External Service Contractors (ESC) d Independent Contractors (IC), excluding 3PL providers for Middle Mile and Transport.
The main goal of the Resource Management Support (RMS) team is to build standardized processes and frameworks so that the Fleet and Shipper Operations teams can build and manage their fleets efficiently and, in turn, achieve the necessary capacity to support operations.
Main Duties:
The Onboarding Specialist will be assigned mainly to perform rider recruitment activities to ensure there is always an available pool of riders to onboard in their assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with rider communities, manpower agencies, and external service contractors to ensure a rich pipeline of riders for callouts and conversion to ICs
- Create communities in social media to have a strong online following to have leads for possible conversion to ICs
- Highly focus on generating rider leads particularly for areas requiring capacity ramp-ups
- Escalates problems to the Resource Management Support Manager when necessary to provide timely solutions.
- Gather industry practices and help in the development and implementation of programs that would aim to improve the retention of contracted delivery partners
- Coordinate with operation teams in the promotion of retention programs
- Ensures outsourced rider performance review meetings with representatives from the operations teams.
- Monitor contractors (IC/ESC) and agency KPIs such as success rate and productivity, and recommend next steps with operations
- Cascades relevant directives and revised policies to the ICs
- Other related tasks that may be assigned to provide resourcing support to the fleet teams (such as lead generation from central channels and facility sourcing
- Willing to work in Tagum, Davao and open to travel
Qualifications
- Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT, and any related course.
- At least 2 years' worth of related work experience, such as in-ground rider recruitment
- Above average understanding of logistic operations
- Proven supervisory or team management experience
- Above average proficiency in MS Excel; Data processing and analysis
- Can build rapport with riders, station heads, and mid-level Managers
- Willing to travel
