The Warehouse Associate is responsible for day-to-day execution of on-ground processes in Ninja Van’s third-party warehousing and fulfilment operations in Malaysia. This is a very hands-on role, and the candidate will execute processes defined in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report to the Fulfilment Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.
Operational Execution
- Perform end-to-end warehouse operations (receiving, inbound, putaway, picking, packing, outbound) to keep the warehouse operating smoothly and at peak efficiency
- Movement and handling of physical goods within the warehouse, including recording of data via barcode scanning
- Familiar with warehouse management systems; use a system to perform daily tasks within warehouse
- Handle exception cases and escalate where necessary
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
-Unloading, unstuffing and receiving shipment from first-mile team
-Validating/inspecting the quality and count of the shipment
-Putaway of shipment into storage
-Frequent item replenishment/letdown into pickface area
-Pick-and-pack fulfilment of orders and preparation for delivery
-Periodic stock-count within warehouse for reconciliation of item inventory count
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a warehouse working on logistics operations.
- Understanding of B2B/B2C warehousing and pick-and-pack fulfilment as a service.
- Willingness to work hands-on in a warehouse to perform on-ground warehouse processes.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and process driven.
- Highly organised and responsible individual.
- Efficient and task-oriented.
- Business competency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms) would be preferred.
- Knowledge of key WMS functionalities would be preferred.
