Who we are:
Nitra's mission is to build a more efficient healthcare system and the technology that makes it possible. Our goal is to provide an ecosystem of fintech and software solutions that help doctors better manage their practices, so they can have time back to focus on what matters to them most.
Nitra offers physicians and medical clinics around the country credit and expense management products they crucially need, as well as a medical supply marketplace, in an all-in-one platform powered by machine learning technologies.
Nitra was created by unicorn founders who have successfully scaled to thousands of customers and exited $1B+ public offerings. They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Plaid, and Goldman Sachs. The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD.
We're looking for:
A Rewards Partnerships Manager to own and scale Nitra’s card rewards ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for building high-impact merchant partnerships (especially across travel, airlines, and hotels), driving customer engagement, and optimizing the program toward long-term profitability.
The ideal candidate has experience working on card loyalty programs—either at a credit card issuer, card network, or rewards platform. You should be equal parts dealmaker and operator: able to craft compelling partner pitches, structure offers and redemptions, and monitor behavioral and financial performance across the program.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify, negotiate, and launch high-value merchant partnerships—particularly with airlines, hotel chains, travel platforms, and luxury services
- Own the end-to-end strategy and performance of Nitra’s rewards program, from partner onboarding through cardholder experience
- Analyze customer redemption behavior to surface trends, reduce liability exposure, and steer users toward more profitable reward categories
- Develop promotional campaigns to drive usage of strategic reward categories and boost cardholder engagement
- Track and optimize the unit economics of cashback and alternative rewards across tiers and customer segments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure seamless integration of rewards into the Nitra platform
- Support partner-facing content, reward catalog management, and program FAQs to maintain clarity and adoption
- Stay current on industry trends in cardholder incentives, travel loyalty, and reward fulfillment best practices
You have:
- 4–6 years of experience in rewards, loyalty, partnerships, or card program strategy
- Experience working at or with credit card issuers, card networks, travel programs, or consumer rewards platforms
- A proven track record of structuring partnerships that drive customer value and business profitability
- Strong analytical skills—you can build models, evaluate program impact, and optimize redemptions for margin
- A natural relationship builder with excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and scaling new programs from 0 → 1
- A collaborative, curious mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams
- Bonus: Experience specifically with travel, airline, or hospitality loyalty partnerships
