About the Role

As the Due Diligence and Network Onboarding Manager (Senior manager - Partner Relations), you will play a vital role in managing the due diligence process, onboarding procedures, and account opening with our banking partners. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, mitigating risks, and establishing efficient processes to streamline the onboarding experience. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely and accurate responses to due diligence questionnaires and facilitate the successful establishment of banking relationships

Key Responsibilities

    • Due Diligence Management: Lead the due diligence process for new banking relationships, including reviewing and responding to due diligence questionnaires, providing necessary documentation, and addressing inquiries from banking partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Banking Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding and account opening process with banking partners, collaborating with internal teams to gather required documentation, complete application forms, and facilitate the submission and approval process within established timelines.
    • Process Development: Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures for due diligence, onboarding, and account opening with banking partners, including documentation requirements, workflow automation, and quality assurance measures to enhance efficiency and scalability.
    • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, finance, and business development teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the due diligence and onboarding process, facilitating timely responses and resolution of issues.
    • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, representing the company professionally and serving as a trusted advisor on due diligence and compliance matters, proactively addressing concerns and identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships.
    • Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess risks associated with banking relationships and due diligence processes, implementing appropriate controls, monitoring mechanisms, and escalation procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

    • Experience setting up and managing new processes, including the management of data for critical documentation.
    • Preferred experience in compliance and/or legal
    • Preferred experience managing due diligence requests from network or vendor partners
    • Deep understanding of European payment ecosystems, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data insights to drive strategic decision-making.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, capable of driving initiatives from conception to implementation.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
