Your Next Exciting Role
A Lead Front End Engineer is responsible for leading and managing front-end development projects. Their main responsibilities include designing and implementing user interfaces, optimizing web performance, collaborating with design and back-end teams, mentoring junior developers, and staying updated with industry trends. The objective is to deliver high-quality, user-friendly web applications.
What would a day @ Nium look like?
- Mentor a team of Junior front end engineers.
- Develop scalable and extensible solutions to solve customers’ needs
- Collaborate with our product team to plan, scope, and drive from inception to production
- Contribute to operational efforts to ensure the continual availability and high quality of our platform
- Recruit, interview, and develop interview questions
- Mentor other engineers in the company
Which Skills & Experiences will make you successful?
- 6-10 years of frontend engineering experience in building front end components / creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience.
- Knowledge in front-end languages (like HTML/CSS, Javascript, React)
- Strong technical knowledge of CS fundamentals.
- Strong experience with scalable and reliable services/APIs
- Strong design and architectural insights with proven accomplishments.
- Expertise in open-source technologies, modern web standards, best practices, and the JavaScript ecosystem
- Familiarity with principles of good user experience
- Thrive in ambiguity
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
