The Analyst – Financial Operations will work within the Financial Operations team to safeguard our customer funds by maintaining up-to-date reconciliations. Our FinOps Analyst will report to the Head of FinOps and will have the opportunity to evolve in a dynamic environment, taking initiative on operations and supporting our very ambitious growth objectives.
What would a day @Nium look like?
- Investigate and address any financial queries related to our Finance Operations function
- Take responsibility for multiple ledger balance reconciliations for transactions pertaining to all aspects of the card issuance business- including but not limited to settlements payable to the scheme, client funds balances, bank accounts, etc.
- Daily responsibilities include:
- Meeting regulatory requirements for safeguarding clients' funds,
- Settlements clearing and ensuring timely payments to Card Schemes
- Processing of internal bank account transfers
- Monthly processing and uploading of transactions pertaining to card issuance and clients’ funds into our accounting system.
- Assist with multiple audit requests as and when necessary.
- Other ad hoc tasks as necessary
Which Skills & Experiences will make you successful?
- In possession of a qualification in Business and Computing, Finance, or equivalent
- Conversant with a strong interest in both IT and Finance
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Results orientated, proactive and can-do attitude.
- Experience in the FinTech industry will be considered an asset
