About the team
As a Software Engineer, you will join our cross-functional team to improve our payments platform and applications. The ideal candidate can engineer reliable, scalable and high-quality solutions to complex business and technical problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, ship and maintain business and productivity tools and applications for internal and external clients
- Build first-class software features following best engineering practices. Perform code reviews, implement unit, integration and end-to-end tests in a continuous integration environment
- Improve and maintain our processes
- Help others grow by providing technical guidance, mentoring and sharing domain knowledge
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of software development experience in an object oriented programming language
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Strong sense of ownership and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- A team player who promotes a positive collaborative environment
- Experience in financial technology and payment networks
- Comprehensive understanding of Java, the Spring Framework and the JVM
- Experience working with distributed, highly available systems
- Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, microservices, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes and Amazon Web Services
