Nium's Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the company's global financial infrastructure. We are a team of talented engineers who are passionate about creating innovative and scalable solutions that help Nium deliver on its mission of making money movement seamless and borderless.
About the role:
Our ideal candidate has deep experience in building scalable and reliable backend systems, services and APIs that deliver value to our customers. This role will make impactful contributions and will proactively identify gaps and future work for the team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and own large features end-to-end
- Collaborate with our product team to deliver high impact for our customers
- Proactively identify ways to monitor the quality, reliability, and security of our systems
- Abide by engineering best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of backend engineering experience, recommended not required.
- Experience building and operating highly available backend distributed systems
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, C++, C#, Golang
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Passion for turning business and product ideas into engineering solutions
$120,000 - $160,000 a year
Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Certain roles may offer additional incentives including but not limited to equity and bonus.
