Your Role 
You will collaborate with team members and hiring managers across the company to proactively identify future hiring needs, draft and post job descriptions, attract candidates using various sources, screen candidates for technical skills and cultural contribution, coordinate interview panels, prepare and make job offers and onboard new hires. Our ideal Talent Acquisition Lead holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Lead are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.


    • Design and implement overall talent acquisition strategy
    • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
    • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
    • Align with hiring managers on the technical needs for each position
    • Prepare talent acquisition materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/LinkedIn/publications/colleges, etc.
    • Maintain talent acquisition materials and repost, edit and sponsor jobs as needed.
    • Source and acquire talent by using databases, LinkedIn, social media etc.
    • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
    • Conduct screening interviews using various reliable talent acquisition and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within a set time-frame
    • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
    • Onboard new employees in order to ensure they become fully integrated into the team
    • Monitor and apply HR talent acquisition best practices
    • Provide analytical and well documented talent acquisition reports to the rest of the team
    • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
    • When necessary or desired, support the People team on other workstreams

Required Skills and Experience

    • At least 5 years of proven work experience in talent acquisition (either in-house or a staffing agency). Experience at a biotech, pharmaceutical or life sciences company is a huge plus. 
    • Experience with technical and non-technical job listings
    • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (behavioral, competency-based, presentation-based, etc.)
    • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.)
    • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
    • Hands-on experience with talent acquisition software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong decision-making skills
