Product Manager

San Francisco

You'll be a part of a small team and this position will work closely with the Engineering and Design teams to facilitate the development of innovative solutions to the most important customer problems. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects

- Managing the product life-cycle from strategic planning to tactical product management activities
- Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from customers, prospective customers and co-workers to identify the most important problems to address via product enhancements or new, innovative products and features
- Document, define, and prioritize product requirements
- Interact directly with customers on a regular basis via phone interviews, conferences, trade-shows, user research or assisting with escalations from Sales or Client Success
- Attend daily stand-ups, groom stories, plan sprints and releases and participate in retrospectives; ensure team members are knowledgeable about the impact of their work on the customer experience and/or the business in general
- Keep all stakeholders informed about upcoming releases, longer-term plans and the status of any important issues
- Keep up to date with market and technology trends and competitive offerings

- BA/BS in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
- 3-5 years experience in B2B technology product management, preferably with data products
- Ability to speak fluently with both developers, marketers, and stakeholders
- Experience working with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience managing and collaborating in cross-functional resources, and working with shared resources to get work done
- Independent self-starter with the ability to complete tasks at a detailed level
- Proven ability to lead through influence vs authority
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
