Account Development Representative

San Francisco

We’re looking for a sales rockstar to join us as our Account Development Lead (and first account development hire). Account development at Node is much more than cold-calling: we’re looking for a creative thought-leader who can work with sales and marketing leadership at Node to develop our account development strategy, build an inbound/outbound funnel, and leverage KPIs and your experience to optimize top of funnel. The Account Development Lead will determine our clients’ first impression of Node - we want someone who will deliver in spades. This will initially be an individual contributor role, though we are a fast-growing team with an amazing group of customers and are looking for someone who can deliver exceptional results today with the potential to grow into a more senior role as we scale.

Build and execute successful account development campaigns across multiple channels: email, phone, social mediaQualify senior-level decision-makers to develop opportunities for the account executive team
Work with marketing to develop and iterate on company messaging and support core content development
Develop and understand KPIs to measure success of inbound and outbound sales development efforts
Work with sales leadership to optimize account development strategy based on both quantitative and qualitative metrics of success
Represent Node at industry events, conferences, and in online events (travel <25%)

Minimum 1-2 years within a sales/account development, lead/demand gen, or business development roleExceptional communication skills across all channels: written, phone, and in person
Strong performance history across multiple indicators: work ethic, sales goal achievement, and career development trajectory
Demonstrable leadership experience (does not have to be managerial)
Insatiable desire to learn and grow both personally and professionally
High EQ with an ability to adapt and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment with dynamic and talented teammates
Ability to work from our San Francisco office
While not required, our ideal candidate will also have experience working at an earlier-stage company
Experience selling to marketing and sales executives at midsize (or larger) companies
Must be in the SF Bay Area
