Position Summary
The Operations Information Manager provides critical business and data management support to the Operations Department, ensuring efficient and compliant processes across purchasing, contracts, and budget management. This role assists with real estate and property transactions, monitors lease renewals, and manages departmental databases for more than 90 district facilities. The manager also tracks expenditures, change orders, and transportation compliance to maintain operational accuracy and accountability across the district.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provides business management support to the Operations team such as Purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contract development, and invoice payments; 
    • Tracks and monitors budget allocations and runs expenditure reports; 
    • Tracks and manages change orders aligned with board policy and vendor contracts as needed;  
    • Supports the Director of Operations Strategy with real estate and property revenue transactions such as short-term leases and sale of unoccupied property;
    • Provides data management and analytical support for the Operations Department;
    • Compiles, tracks, and manages OperationsDepartment’s database for 90+ buildings. Tracked data includes school-based contacts, facility alterations, etc.;
    • Supports the Director of Operations Strategy by tracking the dates and execution of lease renewals for all charter school lessees and short-term leases;
    • Supports transportation accountability reporting. Tracked data includes bi-annual bus inspections and annual CPNC renewals; and
    • Performs other duties as required

Education and Experience

    • Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred;
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience related to data analysis, business management, or operations planning;
    • Understanding of operational needs of K-12 schools or business management services strongly preferred;
    • Must have proficiency using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Access (or other equivalent database experience) and Google Drive

$50,400 - $78,735 a year

Performance Evaluation
The employee will be evaluated based on the above position using either two methods: via COMPASS or a NOLA-PS evaluating instrument. If the employee holds an Educational Leadership certification, he/she will be evaluated via COMPASS to ensure renewal of certification.
