We are a seeking a VP, Sales Leader to join our team! You will be responsible for building and overseeing a specific geographical market where you will grow the client base and contribute to the expansion of the company presence nationally. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth by utilizing the full suite of Nomi’s products. You will do this in part by establishing and nurturing relationships with brokers and consultants in the Third-Party Administration (TPA) sector.

You will lead a market sales team which will develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to hit your individual, and your team’s, sales targets. You are responsible to the development and growth of the team, ensuring that they are successful and can nurture client relationships independently. You will monitor sales targets, strategize on market opportunities, and motivate your team to go after them. You will partner across various business units internally and will work across different departments (i.e. marketing, legal, product) to ensure that your team has what it needs to close deals.

How you will make an impact

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting TPAs, brokers, and consultants
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within TPAs, brokers, and consulting firms
    • Lead a sales team including a Sales Executive, Account Manager, and Business Development Rep, and foster collaboration and communication across the group
    • Manage the performance of the team members and coach them so that they can progress within the sales team
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and customer needs
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of our products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients
    • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment of customer needs
    • Drive complex sales negotiations and close high-value deals with TPAs, brokers, and consultants
    • Ensure contractual agreements meet both customer and company objectives
    • Travel approximately 50-70% of the time to visit with clients, brokers, consultants, TPAs and to be present at industry events

What we are looking for

    • Sales executive with 10+ years’ experience preferably in health benefits and healthcare fintech
    • Expertise and deep knowledge of the full breadth of Nomi products such as Analytics, Network – Tier 1 and Tier 2 contracts, PBM full replacement, POP and Utopia, and use of our rails and financing opportunities with Financial Services
    • Proven track record of success in global sales leadership roles within the healthcare industry, with a focus on TPAs, brokers, and consultants
    • Strong understanding of the TPA ecosystem and healthcare industry dynamics
    • Team management experience of 3-4 years including leading and developing sales executives with lesser experience
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets/goals
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
