WHO YOU ARE
Artemis Health is looking for a strong Accounting Manager to lead the monthly close and manage a great team. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years' experience, preferably in a high volume, software/SaaS pre-IPO or public company environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Manage the billing process for complex multi-year SaaS subscriptions based on a PEPM (per employee per month) structure as well as any related contract modifications, and renewals
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations and other departments to ensure that customer pricing and other customer relationship decisions are handled in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage accounts receivable and supervise the collections process, including customer billing inquiries, customer payments, and overall customer relationships
- Manage sales and use tax compliance for states in which we have nexus
- Assist in the accounts payable process as needed
- Assist in the employee reimbursement process as needed
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate internal financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows)
- Maintain and document control procedures and a system of policies and procedures
- Process sales commissions, bonuses, and other variable compensation
- Assist in the annual external audit for the company’s financial statements
WHAT YOU'LL HAVE:
- Supports and promotes the vision, mission and core values of Artemis Health in professional image, personal interactions, communications
- 3+ years hands-on experience with payroll processes, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency with finance and accounting systems, like Netsuite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
- Understanding of and ability to meet deadlines
- Adept at handling confidential information
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Willing to solve problems and go the extra mile to provide service
- Experience with Netsuite a plus
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
- Experience in SaaS a plus
