The duties of this position involve managing insurance contracts and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations within the organization. A critical aspect of this role is ensuring that the company and its products adhere to relevant insurance licensing regulations across all operating states. For instance, obtaining a Property and Casualty Insurance License in states like California is essential for conducting insurance-related activities in California
specialist will work closely with the legal department to address any legal issues related to insurance contracts and licensing requirements. Staying updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations is vital, as the specialist must advise the company on necessary adjustments to maintain compliance with new requirements
The position also involves providing training and support to internal teams regarding insurance contracting and licensing processes. Managing relationships with insurance providers and regulatory bodies is also essential to facilitate smooth contracting and licensing processes. The specialist will assist in developing and implementing internal policies and procedures related to insurance contracting and licensing and will participate in audits and reviews to ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.

Main Responsibilities

    • Cultivate strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
    • Oversee the sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring clients receive comprehensive and understandable information about various insurance policies.
    • Coordinate with underwriters and adjusters to ensure policies meet the client’s needs and compliance standards.
    • Ensure all insurance policies and practices comply with state and federal regulations.
    • Stay informed about changes in insurance laws and regulations that may impact the business.
    • Implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance and ethical standards within the organization.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Evaluate the risks associated with policy applications to determine appropriate premiums and levels of coverage.
    • Offer risk management advice to clients, helping them to minimize potential losses.
    • Adjust policies and coverages as necessary based on an ongoing assessment of clients’ needs and risk profiles.
    • Provide high-quality customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Oversee the claims process, ensuring claims are processed efficiently and fairly.
    • Maintain a client-centric approach, ensuring all client interactions are handled with professionalism and care.

Core Requirements

    • Must hold a current property and casualty insurance license.
    • Licensed in all U.S. states is required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance compliance and licensing.
    • Strong knowledge of federal and state insurance regulations.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Must reside in a U.S. time zone that allows for effective daily communication with colleagues in the EEST time zone.

Salary

    • Gross salary base 50.000 - 80.000 USD/per year.
    • This position qualifies for a performance-based bonus on top, contingent upon the achievement of established targets.
