The Finance team is a team of ambitious professionals, focused on making the finance process smoother and more efficient. We’re keen on converting financial data into meaningful information and insights, which we do by automating workflows and analyzing data. The financial team supports business stakeholders in making decisions, driving strategy, and achieving the lofty goals of an ever-growing unicorn with confidence. Our team owns and executes accounting, controlling, budgeting and planning, data and financial analysis, treasury and procurement functions.

Main Responsibilities

    • Manage the preparation and presentation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and public company requirements;
    • Build and maintain a robust internal controls framework to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations like the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX);
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial data is accurate and up-to-date;
    • Work with external auditors to ensure that audits are conducted in a timely and efficient manner;
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to support our overall financial strategy;
    • Evaluate, implement, and manage financial systems to streamline processes and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting;
    • Work closely with our international expert advisory network related to complex financial, accounting, tax and legal matters;
    • Lead and manage the controlling team, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.

Core Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent experience);
    • ACCA or equivalent certification preferred;
    • 5+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on external reporting and internal controls;
    • Experience in a SaaS or technology company and/or BIG4 firm preferred;
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards;
    • Experience with US public company reporting is considered a strong advantage;
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders;
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
