As a Business Development Rep, your objective is to source, vet, and qualify new business opportunities, ultimately funneling qualified leads to our outside sales representatives who will then convert potential deals into customers. To drive results, you will identify the most effective ways to introduce prospective customers to Horner Millwork’s product and service offering. As part of your role, you will use HubSpot CRM extensively, and you will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to fine-tune our performance and lead generation. 

Essential Functions

    • Assist sales teams with lead qualification, opportunity tracking, and pipeline management within HubSpot CRM. 
    • Determine the prospect's level of interest and readiness to engage with the sales team.Qualify and disqualify leads that are generated from Marketing efforts, building reports, and inactive customers. 
    • Utilize HubSpot’s features extensively to improve the efficiency with which leads are converted into deals and collaborate with the sales staff to convert deals into customers. 
    • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to assess their needs and qualify them as potential customers. 
    • Make outbound calls to prospects using prepared talking points.  
    • Schedule appointments, demonstrations, or follow-up calls for qualified leads with the appropriate sales representative. 
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product to provide feedback on new campaigns that may improve the performance of our sales funnel. 

Required Education and Experience

    • 1-4 Years of experience in Customer Service 
    • 1-4 years of industry-related experience helpful 
    • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language. 
    • Proven experience in outbound cold calling or telemarketing roles. 
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. 
    • Persuasive and confident demeanor with the ability to manage objections effectively. 
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets. 
    • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. 
    • Ability to multitask and set priorities. 
    • Computer knowledge of PC’s, Microsoft 365, HubSpot a plus. 
    • Experience working in a team environment.
