At Novaspace, we are looking for a motivated Communications & Social Media Intern to support our digital presence, engage our industry audience, and contribute to the success of high-profile space events, our Executive Summits.
Your Mission
- As our Communications & Social Media Intern, you’ll be at the heart of our digital strategy, helping to amplify Novaspace’s presence and drive engagement across our executive summits and corporate brand.
- If you love crafting compelling content, engaging communities, and analyzing social media trends, we want you on board!
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting social media for executive summits (WSBW, SDSS, LATSAT, etc.), creating and scheduling engaging content.
- Design visuals (images, videos, carousels) that align with Novaspace’s brand identity.
- Ensure all posts have a strong narrative and clear call to action.
- Explore new content formats, including behind-the-scenes coverage, speaker highlights, and interviews.
- Track key performance indicators (engagement, reach, impressions, clicks) to assess content effectiveness.
- Report on social media performance and propose new tactics for growth.
- Support the creation of media toolkits for press, speakers, and sponsors.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across external communications.
- Assist in developing a new newsletter template for Novaspace.
- Assist in corporate communications and event promotion.
- Assist onsite on the event production & logistics support
Who You Are
- Passionate about social media and digital communications.
- Creative and detail-oriented with a strong sense of branding.
- Analytical mindset, able to interpret social media KPIs and optimize strategy.
- Skilled in content creation (writing, designing, and video editing).
- Proactive and eager to bring fresh ideas to engage the space industry community.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, Photoshop / Indesign or video editing tools (basic skills are a plus!).
- Understanding of LinkedIn, X, BlueSky and YouTube best practices.
- Basic knowledge of email marketing and newsletter platforms (e.g. MailerLite).
