About the Role
As Sift’s first Marketing Operations Manager, you'll own and optimize our marketing technology stack, establish processes, and manage campaign operations to drive tangible business outcomes. You'll streamline processes by ensuring seamless data flow and automating tasks, while also tracking campaign performance and generating actionable insights. Partnering closely with our Sales and Operations teams, you’ll ensure the marketing engine runs smoothly across the entire customer lifecycle, from the moment a user visits our website to the day an opportunity closes.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Own the marketing technology stack, including but not limited to HubSpot Marketing, Google Analytics, WebFlow, and other relevant tech supporting GTM teams.
    • Ensure our processes and technologies are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness to carry out marketing campaigns, attribution, sales plays, and reporting on the funnel.
    • Work cross functionally with sales operations to establish a comprehensive strategy to track GTM efforts and business impact.
    • Ensure seamless data flow and automate repetitive tasks, leveraging workflows, triggers, and rules to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
    • Track campaign performance and generate actionable reports.
    • Review programs and marketing data to ideate and present new program ideas to increase win rates, funnel velocity, and marketing results.
    • Develop lead management processes and nurturing programs.
    • Support the Head of Marketing with budget, reporting, and vendor management.
    • Oversee website technology, management and optimization.
    • Provide training and documentation on marketing tools.
    • Evaluate and manage marketing technology vendors.

What You'll Need to Succeed

    • You’ve been a crucial team member in a well run Marketing organization for at least 3 years in a Marketing Operations role with a sales-led GTM motion
    • You’ve served as the liaison between the analytical side of marketing and the practical implementation of marketing strategies and tactics.
    • You love learning new technology and leveraging it to advance Marketing efforts and support sales efforts.
    • You’ve embraced AI as a tool to accelerate and improve outcomes vs. do the job for you.
    • You have experience building attribution models
    • You'll leverage your experience with BI and visualization platforms, alongside SQL proficiency, to inform business decisions and advocate for improvements and changes based on data insights.
    • You have proven success in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving organization.
    • You excel in environments where agility and adaptability are key, bringing your project management prowess to the table to develop efficient processes that set the foundation for success in early-stage companies.
    • You thrive in collaborative environments, forging strong relationships across teams.
    • Your ability to convey complex ideas with clarity and impact is second to none.
Location:
The Sift team is based in Los Angeles. We'll work closely with hardware companies building everything from autonomous vehicles to spacecraft, many based in LA. As a customer-centric company, it's essential to be nearby for site visits and collaboration and this role requires coming into the office 2X/week on Mondays + Thursdays.

Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
