As the Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our FTTH network strategy. Your expertise will drive the successful deployment, maintenance, and optimization of our fiber optic infrastructure. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure seamless network operations and exceptional service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

    • Network Architecture and Expansion: 
    • Develop robust network architecture design requirements for FTTH deployment. 
    • Lead expansion initiatives, considering scalability and future growth. 
    • Collaborate with design teams to create efficient network blueprints. 

    • Project Execution and Oversight: 
    • Manage pre-construction project lifecycles, from planning to permitting. 
    • Monitor project progress, budgets, and adherence to timelines. 
    • Address technical challenges proactively. 
    • Quality Assurance and Performance Enhancement: 
    • Set and enforce quality standards for network designs. 
    • Optimize network performance, reliability, and cost. 

    • Vendor Management and Procurement: 
    • Evaluate and select vendors for network designs. 
    • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries. 
    • Regulatory Compliance and Permits: 
    • Stay informed about industry regulations and standards. 
    • Obtain necessary permits and approvals for network construction. 
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. 

    • Technical Innovation and Best Practices: 
    • Explore emerging technologies relevant to FTTH. 
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization. 
    • Drive innovation of engineering designs. 

Qualifications

    • Proven experience in FTTH network design, deployment, and management. 
    • In-depth knowledge of fiber optic technologies, GPON, and network protocols. 
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. 
This is a full-time position with occasional travel to project sites.
