Role Overview
 
Eduventures is seeking a client-focused, analytical thinker with a background in higher education enrollment management. The successful candidate will shape thought-leading research and advisory services that will guide enrollment leaders in the transformation of higher education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the higher education enrollment environment and the ability to advise higher education institutions on enrollment management strategy, institutional branding, yield, and prospective student communication and recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for business-minded, analytical professionals seeking to apply their experience at a fast-paced, professional research and advisory services organization. 

A Day in the Life

    • Collaborate with researchers and other internal constituents to: 
    • Design and execute a thought leadership agenda focused on higher education enrollment management. 
    • Manage research and data collection to analyze key trends and challenges facing leaders of higher education institutions. 
    • Write actionable reports articulating thought leadership on research topics. 
    • Advise clientele within higher education institutions on key strategic and operational decisions. 
    • Develop actionable, cutting-edge recommendations, tools, and analyses for our clientele. 
    • Support the sales team and client research analysts in establishing and maintaining client relationships. 
    • Represent Eduventures at industry events and to the media. 

Role Progressioln

    • Within 1 month, you’ll have met with all key internal employees you will collaborate with most. You will have reviewed core pieces of written research for the enrollment management practice. You will have observed several client calls. You will know where to find the resources required to do your job.  
    • Within 3 months, you’ll have attended and added value to many client calls. You have drafted your first piece of written research, have begun contributing to the research agenda, and have contributed to and/or completed smaller custom studies. You’ll have begun training for and leading Data Lab-enabled advising calls with support. 
    • Within 6 months, you’ll have conducted your own advising calls with several clients. You’ll be able to conduct DataLab-enabled advising calls as well as advising calls in your areas of expertise without support.  You will have authored 3-5 pieces of written research. 
    • Within 1 year, you’ll be an in-demand analyst in your area of expertise, with expanding expertise in other areas. You’ll have authored 8-10 pieces of written research and multiple custom studies. You’ll have led or contributed to one or more webinars and/or industry speaking opportunities. You will have begun finding and refining your voice as a thought leader in higher education enrollment management. 

About you

    • Bachelor’s Degree required 
    • Seven to 10 years related work experience: research/analyst/consulting firm, a technology vendor serving the education market, or institution of higher education. 
    • Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of the business issues facing higher education leaders. 
    • Specific experience within one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: higher education enrollment research, prospective student marketing and communications, institutional branding and identity, and designing and/or implementing yield programs.  
    • Strong analytical abilities and aptitude for using data to inform decision-making. 
    • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills. 
    • Exceptional writing and presentation skills: ability to scope and frame issues. 
    • A business-oriented mindset. 
    • Well-developed client management skills. 
    • Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office  
    • Strong project management skills and ability to execute and deliver high quality and on-time research. 
    • Proven presentation and public speaking skills.
