Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop new features for our software applications using PHP and functional programming languages.
    • Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing features to maintain software stability.
    • Provide input and participate in decision-making for development solutions and software architecture.
    • Follow our agile development processes to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Collaborate closely with other developers and colleagues to foster a cohesive team environment.
    • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency across projects.

Requirements:

    • +5 years of experience as a Full-stack Software Engineer.
    • Fluent English
    • Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and test/QA design principles.
    • Experience with backend languages such as PHP, Python, Java, NodeJS, or Javascript/Typescript.
    • Desire to grow in functional programming (Clojure, Elixir, etc.)
    • Deep understanding of ES6/Javascript and modern web frameworks like VueJs or React (VueJS and Typescript are a plus).
    • Familiarity with open-source databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Memcache, Redis, or ElasticSearch.
    • Understanding of security principles and best practices, along with OWASP recommendations.
    • Hands-on experience with GNU/Linux systems, SSH, and scripting (bash, Python, Perl, etc.), with knowledge of version control systems like Git.
    • Experience with AWS and cloud-based architecture is a must.
    • Ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs, and work with CI/CD pipelines.
