We are seeking a Tier 3 Network Engineer with strong Cisco wireless expertise to join our team. This role focuses on enterprise wireless networking across large/global environments, supporting day-to-day operations, complex escalations, and high-impact projects.

You’ll be part of a global team owning the hardware/platform operations, while the security team focuses on policy. Expect exposure to SD-WAN and firewalls, but the main priority is Cisco Wireless (controllers, APs, authentication, RF performance).

Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as Tier 3 escalation point for Cisco wireless (controllers, APs, roaming, RF, authentication).
    • Lead complex troubleshooting across WLAN/LAN/WAN, including spectrum analysis, packet flow, and RF interference.
    • Implement, optimize, and support Cisco wireless infrastructure (9800/Catalyst controllers, DNA Center/Prime, ISE/802.1X).
    • Support enterprise projects (e.g., site setup, migrations, cutovers, stabilization).
    • Collaborate with the security team (policy) while owning configs, deployment, and uptime on the network side.
    • Create and maintain documentation (runbooks, designs, SOPs, network diagrams).
    • Partner with Cisco TAC/vendors for escalations and RCA.
    • Participate in a future rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 global support.

Required Qualifications:

    • 7+ years professional experience as a Network Engineer.
    • Strong Cisco wireless expertise: controllers (9800/Catalyst), APs, authentication, roaming, RF fundamentals.
    • Hands-on experience with DNA Center/Prime, ISE, 802.1X, AAA, and RADIUS/DHCP/DNS.
    • Proven Tier 3/escalation background in large/global enterprise environments.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills (packet flow, QoS, site surveys, RF optimization).
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have:

    • SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela or similar).
    • Firewall administration (Cisco ASA/FTD/Firepower).
    • Automation (Python, Ansible) for network operations.
    • Certifications: CCNP (Enterprise/Wireless) required, CCIE preferred (or in progress).

What We’re Looking For:

    • Wireless-first: deep Cisco WLAN experience is the core requirement.
    • A Team Player who communicates well with global teams.
    • Comfortable documenting and presenting technical solutions.
    • Excited to grow with us—especially if working toward a CCIE.
